When you first start the alkaline diet I want you to aim for imperfect. Or you will fail. Here’s why…
Getting the health, energy, vitality and body of your dreams should be fun, relaxing, enjoyable and achievable.
It should not be stressful, built on depriving yourself, giving up your social life and feeling like crap. That’s not the way to do it.
And when you first look at the alkaline diet, read my alkaline food charts, or go through the pH Miracle you’d be forgiven for thinking you have to give up everything, say goodbye to your social life and start eating broccoli for the rest of time.
Nothing could be further from the truth.
Please read this carefully: when you first start the alkaline diet I want you to start small, start slow, take it day by day, have treats, relax, have nights out, have fun…BUT do the small things RIGHT and do them every day.

There is nothing that causes people to fail more often, fail harder and become more demotivated than the unnecessary desire to try to be perfectly alkaline from day one.
My belief is that you NEVER need to be perfectly, 100% alkaline. There is always room for being a little more relaxed, enjoying life and living by my big mantra:
The alkaline diet (or any healthy eating/nutrition plan) has to be enjoyable and achievable, it has to be realistic, or it’s doomed from the start.
After all, who wants to be perfectly healthy but unhappy?
So especially when you’re first starting – start slow, go day by day, don’t try to eliminate everything all at once, allow yourself treats and relax.
Build upon every little success. Honestly, if you try to be perfect, it’s too hard.
