Alkaline Diet Recipe #85: Alkaline Green Salad Shake
This is a very refreshing and energy boosting alkaline shake, which will give you a real energy kick first thing in the morning or throughout the day!
This highly nutritious smoothie contains a range of alkalising ingredients like avocado, lettuce, cucumber, pepper, tomato and a handful of crunchy flax seeds.

Alkaline Green Salad Shake
Serves 1
Ingredients
1 avocado
1/2 green pepper
1 handful of salad leaves (e.g. romaine or iceberg)
1/2 cucumber
1 tomato
Juice of 1/2 lemon
1 handful flax seeds
Instructions
Cut the cucumber, tomato, avocado, salad leaves and pepper into pieces.
Put all ingredients into a mixer and mix everything on the highest setting until all has mixed together well.
Enjoy this energy boosting green smoothie!
