Do I HAVE to Use the Pre-Filter?

No, absolutely not. The pre-filter is not mandatory or critical to the ionizer working properly and the ionizer is absolutely brilliant without it. We just really love the pre-filter and are giving it to you because we think it is a fantastic filter. Think of it purely as a gift. If you use it but after 12 months do not want to pay to replace it then just throw it away! Your ionizer will still continue to do it’s job fantastically well without it!
