Immune-Boosting Tea Recipe

Quick, easy and delicious, this alkaline tea is absolutely fantastic for your immune system!

  • Author: Ross

Ingredients

Scale

2 cloves of garlic

1cm ginger, grated

1cm turmeric, grated

1tsp of coconut oil

1 cayenne pepper, sliced

1/2 lemon

4 cups of water

Instructions

To make the immune tea add 4 cups of water to a pot along with the grated fresh ginger root and turmeric. If you can’t find fresh turmeric use the powder form (organic), but I find that in most countries you can find fresh on Amazon.

Bring the water to a simmer and immediately reduce it to the lowest heat.  Simmer all the raw garlic, cayenne, raw ginger and fresh turmeric together for 5-6 minutes, turn the heat off, and add the juice of 1 lemon and one teaspoon of virgin coconut oil.

Once the tea cool down pour a cup and enjoy!

Notes

This recipe for immune boosting tea will make enough for four cups, you can keep the tea at room temperature in a covered pot or vessel, or store it in the fridge for 48 hours. Unless you like it really strong, I recommend straining before storing!

    Hi Ross

Many thanks for this wonderful recipe. You’ve not listed coconut oil in the top section of ingredients but have listed it below so just checking that it should be included in the tea.

    Many thanks
    Tina
